The kids woke up early this morning and as I came down the stairs Kelly, my 3 year-old, said "Mommy, there's birds there! Come see!" LOL She was right, there was a Junco, a Finch, the Chickadee and the Woodpecker too! Later some sparrows came and then a Blue Jay! Finally! I put some peanuts out for the Blue Jay and another came to join the first one.
A little later (and another handful of peanuts) a bunch of black birds came along to steal the peanuts,
much to the delight of Pretty and Milky who were watching in the patio d
oor! When I went out to take advantage of the sunny afternoon Emily noticed the Robin was back and the Woodpecker too.
